Terence McKinnon, REALTOR®
MEET
Terence McKinnon
Terence McKinnon is a Florida REALTOR® with Wagner Realty, serving buyers and sellers throughout Lakewood Ranch, Parrish, Manatee/Sarasota Counties, and across the State of Florida. Since entering real estate in 2019, Terence has built his business around preparation, communication, honesty, and follow-through. For buyers, especially those considering new construction, Terence provides independent representation and perspective. The builder's sales representative represents the builder.
Terence represents you - the buyer. He helps clients look beyond the model home and understand the factors that can affect both the purchase and future ownership, including flood considerations, CDD assessments, HOA obligations, insurance, inspections, incentives, location, and overall value. For cash buyers and relocating clients, Terence understands the importance of moving efficiently without sacrificing due diligence. Move decisively. Never blindly.
For sellers, Terence focuses on preparation, positioning, and pricing. He combines local market knowledge, comparable sales, professional judgment, and modern AI-assisted research tools to help clients make informed pricing decisions. Because in real estate, the wrong price can quickly become a property's greatest obstacle. From contract to closing, Terence stays engaged and works to keep the appropriate parties informed. He follows important details, monitors the process, and believes clients should always understand where their transaction stands and what comes next. Terence also believes strongly in continuous education. Along with ongoing real estate education, he maintains training and certifications in 200-hour yoga instruction, indoor cycling, nutritional coaching, and AI education for real estate.
For Terence, continuing to learn is part of serving people well. Markets evolve. Technology changes. Client needs change. He believes a professional should continue evolving with them.
His commitment to service began long before real estate. Terence previously worked in recreation serving individuals with disabilities and later spent many years in fitness helping people improve their health, confidence, and quality of life. Through indoor cycling and charitable fundraising, he helped raise more than $10,000 for Cycle for Survival in support of rare-cancer research and participated in efforts benefiting Susan G. Komen, Best Buddies, and other organizations. His father taught him to pursue work that would lift people up rather than bring them down. His mother shaped his appreciation for health, wellness, nutrition, kindness, and caring for others.
Raised in a Christian family, Terence values faith, integrity, gratitude, responsibility, and service.
One of his favorite passages is Psalm 34:8: “O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”
For Terence, those words are a reminder to appreciate the gifts around us and the meaning of
home. A home can represent security, family, freedom, retirement, a fresh beginning, or a legacy passed to the next generation. That is why Terence approaches every transaction with the same commitment: Listen carefully. Understand the goal. Protect the details. Communicate clearly. Follow through.
More than a home. A way of life.
